Se on jännää ku 19 vuotta haluu järjettömän paljon pois sieltä missä on aina ollu. Ja sit 21-vuotiaana parin vuoden kiertelyn jälkeen ku tietää joutuvansa elämään jossaki paikassa seuraavat viis vuotta niiden opintojen perässä joista on aina haaveillu niin tuntuuki ihan sitä että pitäs päästä takas sinne missä on aina ollu. Siihen paikkaan missä tuntee kaikki ja tietää miten toimia. Voi lähtee kulkee päämäärättömästi kun tietää kuitenki reitit ja voi soittaa kaverille kun tietää kuitenki että se on paikalla ja muistaa kirppareiden aukioloajat ja kaikkialle voi kävellä.

Loppukesästä sain toimeksiannon kuvata Wanhaa Savonlinnaa uusittaville nettisivuille. Avautuvat joskus syksyn kuluessa osoitteessa www.wanhasavonlinna.fi ja siellä niitä kuvia sit kai on. En ehkä niin täydellistä työpanosta antanu ku ois pitäny, mutta oon ihan semityytyväinen osaan kuvista.

It's funny how, for 19 years, one wants away from there where he has always been. And then when one's 21 years old, after few years living here and there, when one knows that he has to live 5 next years in this one exact place because he's studying in a school where he has always wanted to be, he wants to go back to that place where he has always been. To that place where you know everybody and you know how to act. You can wander around without any destination because you know all the routes, you can call a friend because you know that he's there, you remember the opening times of all flea markets and you can walk everywhere.

During the late summer I had some work because I was asked to photograph the Savonlinna Old Town to their new websites. The website will open during this autumn (www.wanhasavonlinna.fi) and the pics will probably be there then. I didn't give my everything to this project (and it shows) but I'm semi-satisfied to some photos.

Paras mesta noin aina. | Savonlinna is probably the most beautiful city in the summer.

Riihisaari ja laivoja. | The museum and some lake-stuff.

Oopperabileet | The Olavinlinna Castle and people after an opera (which is held in the castle)

Sarastron talo, koira ja Mirja. | A local shop.

Legendaarinen Linnankatu 12 ja sen pihalla rafla Valo. | The best building on that street (I lived there for a while!)

Miula ei oikeesti oo mitään uusia kuvia niin pitää käyttää näitä vanhoja. Onneks meen ens viikonloppuna käymään Savonlinnassa kotona ja voin kuvata uusia.

I actually don't have any new photos so I have to use these old ones. Luckily, I'm going to visit my parents and my favourite city Savonlinna next weekend so I can take some new ones.

pistin valitukset pussiin ja keskityn huonoihin kuviin ja itteeni enemmän eli vaihdoin siis blogin nimee ja banneriaki kikkailin uusiks. Näppärää. Mielipiteitä saa toki kertoa mut en lupaa ottaa opikseni.

Koetan myös vähän englantia loppuun jotta pari ihmistä lisää vois ymmärtää.

So I decided to translate something from my posts and try to make this blog as understandable as possible. Now you can follow my life and photos, isn't that nice? Btw that girl in the photo with that afro-hair is my friend Sonja. She doesn't look always like that. Just sometimes.
