Päivitän blogia - I'm updating this thing

Tein portfoliota paikallislehden kesäkuvaajatyöhakemukseen ja törmäsin Balkanin ajan kuviin joihin en oo uskaltanu kajota aikoihin. Nyt uskalsin ku oli pakko ja sieltä löyty muutamia helmiä.

I was making this portfolio of my photos for my summerjob application for the local newspaper in Savonlinna and I found these photos from Balkan that I've been kinda avoiding few months. But now that I had to go through them, I started to miss some moments and found some diamond shots amogst all that crap that I took there.

Nothing more now, I should dig up the old photos because I'm not taking any new or actually all the new ones are pure crap.

Wanhoja huonoja - old crap

Tänään oon esitelly itteni Lahtelaisille valokuvaajille pecha kuchan muodossa. Alotin omasta naamasta vuodelta 2007 ja lopetin Neil Armstrongin kuvaan jossa Buzz Aldrin seikkailee kuussa vuonna 1969.

Jossain vaiheessa suu kuivu liiasta puhumisesta mut jatkoin silti. Uskomatonta kuraa saa ihminen suustaan vaikkei oo mitään kerrottavaakaan!

Monica i Uma

Tänä aamuna elämäni ensimmäistä powerpointtia sit kootessani törmäsin viime vuoden keväiseen kuvaan Monicasta, lähti joskus Turun taideakatemiaan tehtävänä ja aiheena oli TUHKA. Ite en nää tässä mitään vikaa joten kaikkee se taideakatemia miussa menettikään!

Today I had a pecha kucha -presentation (it means I have 20 pictures to show in powerpoint and 20secs to tell about each photo) about myself via my own pics and other photographer's pics. I started with a photo of my own face from year 2007 and ended it to the picture of Buzz Aldrin, taken by Neil Armstrong in MOON in 1969.


I talked for 6mins and 40secs without pauses. I'm an expert in talking crap.


This photo is from last year, from my pre-excercises to the Turku University of Applied Sciences, the art department, from the time I was applying there also. The title to this pic was "ASH" and I liked this photo. That school didn't because they didn't take me in. Oh, they lost so much potential in me!
